I was so excited when Mrs. Tyson contacted me about shooting Andrew’s senior portraits. I met Andrew and his family earlier this year while shooting prom pictures in downtown Edenton. Mrs. Tyson emailed me about some of their ideas which included the baseball field and Andrew’s black mustang.
The day of Andrew’s session the weather was blue skies and cool temps. I met Andrew, his mom and grandmother at Perquimans High School for the beginning of his session. Sport portraits are my favorite images to shoot!! I shot a few images in downtown Hertford and then we headed to Newbold – White House. The last part of the session was with his car. I was so excited about doing those shots… I love the way they turned out, especially the b&w ones !! Andrew was so relaxed and cool during his session. He looked like a GQ model.
