A couple of Sundays ago I met up with one of my 2016 senior reps Samantha. I asked her if she was available to help me out on making a video. The thought to adding video to a senior session would be amazing. This being my first time using video I asked Samantha to please be patience with me. It was a lot to pay attention especially your surrounds. What I mean I wanted the wind in the trees, the fading of walking away , and movement of clothing. These 3 ideas are all that I had planned out for this video. As we started walking the downtown area of Hertford more ideas came into play. About 20- 25 minutes into walking around. I decide to move to the boat ramp. The water and the S bridge added a lot to this video. It showed our little home town area.
In making this video I did about 30 video clips, 7-12 seconds long. In between videos clips, I would do some portrait images of Samantha. I enjoyed making this video. I loved using manual focus to blur parts of the video. Especially the leaves moving in the wind. All in all I think the video turned out pretty good being my first time. One of my next goals is to attend Anne Moshier video workshop. Ann offers a 2 day workshop on videos. I look forward to my next opportunity to work with video. Here are a few of my favorite images and the link to my video!! https://vimeo.com/153735231
