I absolutely LOVE fall !! It’s my favorite time of the year. The trees are so gorgeous with their red, orange and yellow leaves. As I was driving to Colerain for Kaleigh’s senior portraits. I could only hope her location had beautiful fall leaves in the background. Guess what it did !!
Kaleigh’s location for her senior portraits was absolutely perfect. For two reasons : First it was family land which makes it extra special and second so many awesome spots to shoot portraits. Kaleigh’s family was so sweet and welcoming. I got to meet so many of her family members. I enjoyed talking with everyone.
The day of Kaleigh’s senior portraits it was so cloudy but that did not stop her from smiling. The first part of Kaleigh’s session she was wearing a pizza shirt. Of course that right there won me over. She is a pizza girl and so am I !! Her shirt said ” Pizza is cheaper than therapy” Love it !! The second part of the session was my favorite!! Kaleigh’s mom ( Sara) had emailed earlier that week with a picture of a old Chevy pickup truck. I was so excited about the truck. How cool to have a truck like this in your senior portraits! The third part of the session was over by a pond with a tree that fell down during a tornado this summer. The touch of fall on the trees in the background was a great way to end her senior portrait.
Kaleigh is absolute sweetheart with amazing personality. Her smile and blue eyes just about melted my lens. She will be graduating this spring from Bertie County Early College High in Windsor, NC.
