First, we need to know the fall season color palette. Below you will see the Pantone colors for Fall and winter. There are a lot of bright colors this year, which will help make your outfits pop in your portraits. Remember, don’t go too crazy with the neon colors. A little pop of bright colors with a neutral base will go a long way. When picking out your outfits, jewel-tone colors go great with any skin tone. Now that we have Fall/Winter Colors, look at some outfit styles.
With most senior sessions, you get about four outfit changes. So here are some looks from casual to dressy with the new fall colors and trendy styles.
I love these dresses !! The green dress, you can make basic with a cute pair of designer sneakers and a high ponytail or messy bun. The Caramel dress is the perfect color that screams Fall, and the boots just had to the look. The multi-color dress is fun, don’t be scared of color or pattern. The Pink dress is so cute and style with the dressy look but not the prom dress look. This dress would be cute in a city vibe area. If you notice, all the dresses are fall palette colors, and the accessories are statement shoes, hats, and jewelry.
Skirts are another fun senior session outfit piece. I know not a lot would go for the first outfit, but that is so cute. It’s Edgy but not over the edge. Tulle, graphic t-shirts, and blazers are really in style for Fall. The second outfit is a cute plaid skirt. 90’s fashion is making a comeback, and plaid is one of those trends. This cute neutral outfit is perfect for wooded path areas or sidewalks with fall leaves. The Third outfit is a fun basic look with a bit of style. The boots bring the style up a level and notice she rolls the sweater up to give it a more stylish look versus tucking it in the skirt. The last outfit is a cute, fun pattern. You could wear a jean jacket to make it more casual or a leather jacket to make it a more edgy/ urban look.
Every girl has a favorite pair of jeans in her closet, so if you want to wear them on the day of your session. Pair them with a cute top. As I said earlier, tulle is in style. The Blue tulle puff top is cute, but that style is not for everyone. The fuchsia top gives the basic jeans a pop. The last shirt with the fringe is s cute way to add fun to your favorite jeans.
These four outfits are different, but each one shows a trend and style for the fall. The Joggers in the first pick are trendy and comfortable. So, Instead of wearing jeans for all your pics, find a cute pair of joggers. 90’s plaid is here. I am for it the wide-leg pants with a basic top so stylish. Now, if you want to add a little pop to your favorite jeans with a basic top, add a jacket with a pop of color. The last outfit I am all for is comfy, but this is comfy and stylish. Look at her outfit; she took a basic sweat set and made it hot. The necklace dress the top up, the designer sneaker gives it a fun style, and the jean jacket finishes the look.
Fall accessories boots, boots, and more boots. You cannot have too many pairs of boots. Lastly, hats, ponchos, shacket are still hot, and oversize sweaters/cardigans all add to the outfit. Layering necklaces and statement earrings.
