Lilly’s Senior Session at Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, North Carolina
To begin with, Lilly’s senior session was the perfect mix of classic garden beauty and coastal North Carolina charm. From the very start, she knew she wanted a garden experience, which made Elizabethan Gardens in Manteo, NC, the perfect choice.
This location is always a favorite for seniors who want that elegant, garden-inspired senior photo experience, and Lilly absolutely brought it.
First, Lilly wore a bright pink dress that popped beautifully against the lush greens and florals throughout the gardens. Not only did the color photograph beautifully, but it also added a fun, bold contrast to the soft natural light.
We wandered through different garden areas, capturing a mix of classic portraits and relaxed, joyful moments that truly reflected Lilly’s personality.
After that, Lily changed into a super cute green-and-white dress that blended perfectly with the surrounding scenery. Because of this, the images felt effortless, fresh, and incredibly timeless.
Just a short drive from the gardens, we made a quick stop at a quiet soundside beach near Manteo. This gave Lilly a totally different look within her session—barefoot, coastal, and relaxed.
These beach images added variety to her gallery while still keeping that soft, natural vibe she wanted.
Finishing at Pirates Cove Marina
To wrap up Lilly’s senior session, we headed to Pirates Cove for waterfront portraits on the docks. The boats, wooden textures, and coastal backdrop gave her final images such a classic Outer Banks feel.
This location is perfect for seniors who want a nautical, coastal finish to their session—and Lilly’s photos here were the perfect ending to an already amazing shoot.
