Windy, Wild & Beautiful: Bailey’s Outer Banks Senior Portrait Session
Some senior sessions just hit different — and Bailey’s Outer Banks senior portrait session was one of those magical evenings I won’t forget anytime soon.
Bailey was visiting the beach from out of town, and we timed her session during one of those unforgettable Outer Banks days where everything came together just right. A tropical storm was sitting off the coast, which meant the waves were big, the wind was dramatic, and the sky was absolutely unreal. The clouds rolled in, the sun peeked through, and the beach turned into the most stunning natural backdrop you could ask for.
And Bailey?
She made it look effortless.

One of my favorite parts of Bailey’s senior session was how personal it felt. Toward the end of the shoot, she brought out her surfboard, and it was the perfect finishing touch. Incorporating something meaningful into a senior session always elevates the experience — and these images were SO good.
Between the crashing waves, dramatic skies, and Bailey’s laid-back beach style, the surfboard photos felt authentic, timeless, and full of personality. These are the kinds of images that tell a story — not just what Bailey looks like, but who she is in this season of life.
