Kate Spade just screams style and fun!!
This editorial tennis senior portrait session was all about STYLE and FUN. Being a senior photographer you want to keep your senior portrait sessions fun and different. This session took place at John A. Holmes High School in Edenton, NC. I have been working on different ideas for a editorial inspired session. This little black skirt was the ideas behind this session. When I purchased this skirt my first thought was Kate Spade. Now I just needed a location and model.
I had totally overlooked Emily’s tennis session on the calendar. This would be perfect!! A Kate Spade senior editorial tennis session. I mean how cool to have tennis pictures with editorial style. Not just the normal tennis portraits. I asked Emily to wear a white shirt and bring some pumps. I would handle the rest of the outfit. As we both looked through all the statement jewelry. Emily pick out this beautiful teal and gold set. Which looked amazing on her in the session.
As we began the session I directed Emily into editorial poses. I put her in poses that I thought would be fitting for this tennis senior portrait session. I wanted to capture the love of tennis with editorial style. Emily did that and more, she nailed each look and pose. I am swooning over all these images !! They’re absolutely amazing! Editorial inspired senior portraits might be something worth trying out seniors?
